DGNA Meeting Minutes May 1, 2025
President Brad Williams called the meeting to order at 6:05 in the community room #3 at the Public Library (205 E Olive) Blm, Il.

Attendance: 13 DGNA members present. Brad Williams, Pam & Herb Eaton, Jim Ulavege, CJ Ledinsky, Sue Rush, Karen Schmidt, and Alderman Cody Hendricks. Welcomed 5 new neighbors: Rachel Kapraun, Steve & Nancy Dauer, Josh Crocket, Adam Pemberton.

March Minutes were approved by those present.
Treasure’s report balance of $3,504.15
Old Business:
Neighborhood Clean-Up:
A big thank you to Noah Tang and the Bloomington Revivalists for constructing another successful cleanup around our neighborhood on April 19th. Several neighbors picked up all sorts of debris along our streets.
Sign Project:
Home signs waiting for write-ups of 5-6 signs before we place an order.
Entrance signs: three large signs similar in design to current home history signs. Hollis working on design. Locations talked about were Washington Street, Grove/Gridley, Oakland/Clayton
Neighborhood Newsletter: need someone to write one up so we can distribute to let new neighbors know about neighborhood association, bake sales, etc.
Traveling Social: Asked if anyone wanted to host or block off a street. Also suggested hold another one at Pour Brothers. No dates set.
New Business:

Bake Sale no date as of yet
Discussions on Homeless Village, Zoning/Codes, Infill concerns shared on both issues
Committee Reports:
Safety Watch: 9 reports for March & April. Issues seemed to be happening all over the city but we did have more this period with most on Front & Grove
Next Meeting: July 10 because of July 3rd so close to the 4th. Location: TBD
