Old Business/Updates:

THANK YOU to Strong Towns Blono for another successful clean-up of Dimmitt’s Grove on April 25th.

Brad Williams and other attending DGNA members shared some discussion from the most recent Neighborhood Chat with the City of Bloomington that took place on March 26th.  Cordaryl Patrick, director of Community Impact & Enhancement is eager to take care of neighborhood issues, and he explained changes in how complaints can be filed at the city website (www.bloomingtonil.gov) or the myCityBLM app.

The sign project is working on several new signs and the larger “Welcome to Dimmitt’s Grove” signs now.  The placement of the larger signs and overall cost options need to be ironed out.

New Business:

Our DGNA Flea Market will be June 6, 2026.  If anybody is interested in having a sale this year let Kelley Straub know.

The date for our DGNA Bake Sale downtown at the Farmer’s Market has not been set yet at this time.  Theresa Necessary will keep us updated.

Five DGNA members attended the survey results meeting for the water reclamation project.  They discussed several topics including:  flooding concerns, the alley paving project, the timeline of starting in June and continuing into the Fall, push-back from the city, younger students visiting the gardens, etc.

Safety Concerns:

Cars have been broken into recently.  Be sure to lock your vehicles and do not leave valuable items in your vehicles.

Our next DGNA meeting will be July 2, 2026 @6pm @TBD (possibly Green Top Grocery)

Meeting was adjourned by Brad Williams.
