DGNA Meeting 1/7/21
Held via Zoom-thank you to Karen Schmidt for setting up!
7 members were in attendance virtually
Previous meeting minutes from November were approved. We did not have an updated treasury report at this time.
R3B update: At this time it had been pulled from the agenda, after getting the second letter that was sent on DG behalf. They decided there needed to be additional discussion prior to it being put back on the agenda. More to come on this soon.
Thank you to DG Sign committee. All 14 of the new signs have been installed and look beautiful in the neighborhood. We now have 27 total. Sarah Hanzel of the Sign Committee explained that the next step will be to get the histories and upload them to their page on our website. Pam asked if there was an idea of when the next round would occur, and Sarah expressed that likely same time period as before roughly 2 years in between rounds. The concern regarding additional fundraising was brought up after discussion about our next sign project. Sarah brought up again the idea of a neighborhood cookbook. We have many wonderful cooks/bakers/mixologists etc present and past. We also have wonderful artists that could do artwork to separate the different sections (apps/drinks/soups/casseroles etc). Sarah will try to compile a committee for this venture once she is done with the house histories for the sign project.
Sarah Hanzel relayed that she was in communication with Paul Phillips and took over handling DG’s Domain handling.
There were no issues to bring up from Block Captain report. Donnie has also just sent out his Crime report.
The next meeting will be held March 7th over Zoom
