It’s almost Fall and in Dimmitt’s Grove we all know what that means…… it’s time to start thinking….”What Chili am I going to make this year?!?!?!”
This year the Chili Cook-Off will be held again at the home of Gregg and Sarah Hanzel @ 601 E Jackson St. It will be on Saturday October 19th at 4pm.
Once again we’ve invited Founder’s Grove and Downtown to attend. We know we’ve got to keep up our “A Game” and keep the Overall Best Chili Title here. Shout Out to Susan Rush who took home the title last year!!!!
So start digging through your recipes because once again there will be coveted aprons (along with bragging rights) for the winners of 3 categories: Spiciest, Most Unique and Best Overall. As usual, if cooking chili is not your thing we will have prizes for Best appetizer and Best Dessert too!
So mark your calendars for 10/19 and make plan to come out, meet new neighbors, catch up with old friends and eat some excellent food in a beautiful setting.
