The September meeting of the Dimmitt’s Grove Neighborhood Association was called to order at the Fritschs’, 503 E. Olive at 7:10 PM. Thirteen neighbors were present. Minutes hadn’t been posted, so couldn’t be approved. Sarah Hanzel offered to learn to post the minutes and take over that duty, after a lesson from Stephanie. There was no treasurer report. The bake sale brought in about $350. Thanks so much to the bakers and workers for another fun and successful bake sale. The summer traveling social hour was a success, and thanks to Carlo and Emily, Karen and John, and Dawn and Diana for hosting. The Chili Cook-off will be on Oct. 4, hosted by the Eatons either at their home or studio. Bring canned goods for Clare House. The neighborhood will not be doing luminaries this year. Jerica reported on progress on the Jackson St. sewer project.
The next meeting will be Nov. 5, 2015 at 7 PM at the Kashians’, 510 E. Grove.
