9/6/2012: DGNA Meeting Minutes – September
The Sept 2012 DGNA meeting took place on Thursday, Sept 6th at 7 pm at Marie Litta Park. Total funds in our bank account after the bake sale receipts were deposited are $2,766.89. Results of the Bake Sale were reported. Total sales were $251. We had a total of 7 bakers and 8 people working the booth that morning. The next Day in Historic Dimmitt’s Grove meeting is on Sunday, Sept 16th at 3 pm at Carol Kashian’s house at 510 E. Grove for those interested in being involved with the planning.
The Annual Chili Cook-off will take place on Sunday, October 14th at 4 pm at the home of Pam and Herb Eaton at 512 E Taylor. We are once again inviting Founders Grove and Downtown residents. Attendees should bring either chili or a side to share. Prizes will once again be awarded. Luminaries will take place this year on Saturday, December 15th from 5-9 pm. Volunteer information will be sent later in the fall.
The next meeting will take place at 603 E. Grove on Thursday, November 1st at 7 pm.
