3/1/2012: DGNA Meeting Minutes – March

The March meeting of the Dimmitts Grove Neighborhood Association was held at Eatons on Mar. 1. The meeting was called to order by President Brad Williams. Minutes were approved. Treasurer Melanie Hunter reported a balance of $2773.71.

Plans for Day in Dimmitt’s Grove are in the works for next summer, on June 22, 2013. Many helpers will be needed. Please plan to participate. The Vrooman will be doing lunch and their lawn will be available for vendor spaces.

The flea market will be June 2. There will be a summer delivered newsletter. Block captains and volunteers will deliver it. The bake sale will be July 28 at Farmer’s Market. Please mark your calendars to participate. If you have benefited from this neighborhood, you can do your part to help others by baking, setting up or working, or at least buying something.

There was a break-in on Washington St. The police, alerted by the homeowners, caught the burglar in the house.

The next meeting will be May 3at 7 PM at 606 E. Grove, hosted by Terri Clemens and Chris Eisele.
